Baseball Recap: Baker Extends Winning Streak to Three

Baker barely beat Mobile Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Baker Hornets put the hurt on the Mobile Christian Leopards with a sharp 12-2 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Baker's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mobile Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baker will head out to take on Daphne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mobile Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against McGill-Toolen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
