The third road game was the charm for Churubusco, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They breezed past the Prairie Heights Panthers to the tune of 39-12 on Friday. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Churubusco was led to victory by Colt Singleton and Brody Lawrence. Singleton rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, while Lawrence threw for 69 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Lawrence posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
