After flying high against South Hadley last Thursday, Easthampton/Hampshire came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 56-36 to the Westfield Bombers on Friday. On the bright side, the 36- point performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.
Despite the loss, Easthampton/Hampshire saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Patrick Larson rushed for 147 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and one TD.
