The biggest upset of the week belonged to Holtville, who defeated 520th ranked Crawford, 42-6. Clayton Bowler threw for 29 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 160 yards during the win.
The Vikings extended the longest winning streak in Manzanita this week by beating the Colts, 42-6. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Holtville's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bowler has thrown for 1,041 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while David Lucero has 38 catches for 819 yards. Bowler also leads the league in rushing with 1,971 yards.
Keith Smith's team scaled the state rankings by moving to 466 from 569 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings were able to move up by defeating Crawford 42-6.
