The Pell City Panthers entered their tilt with the Hartselle Tigers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Pell City walked away with a 58-49 win over Hartselle on Tuesday.
Heaven O'Neal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. The match was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Reagan Tarver, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten assists.
Pell City pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hartselle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
Pell City will be home for the holidays to greet Cullman at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hartselle, they will head out on the road to face off against Briarwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Briarwood Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Hartselle is ranked 26th).
