Sarasota has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Riverview Sarasota, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.
Riverview Sarasota skirted past Sarasota 7-6 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
