Carlson is 9-1 against Anderson since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Carlson Marauders will head out on the road to square off against the Anderson Titans at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carlson has three straight wins, Anderson has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Thursday, Carlson earned a 40-31 win over Roosevelt.
Among those leading the charge was Abigail Carafelli, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Addison Wallace, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Anderson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 37-32 to Taylor. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Anderson in their matchups with Taylor: they've now lost nine in a row.
Carlson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Carlson was able to grind out a solid victory over Anderson in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 45-32. Will Carlson repeat their success, or does Anderson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
