On Friday Northwest Christian School take on Liberty at Riverside H.S. at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
After soaring high against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last week. Northwest Christian School ended up on the wrong side of a painful 18-49 walloping at Tri-Cities Prep's hands. Northwest Christian School got a solid performance out of senior Silas Perreiah, who rushed for 116 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Liberty had a rough outing against Chewelah, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Liberty blew past Irrigon 27-0.
Liberty's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Northwest Christian School's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Liberty can add another positive mark to their record or if Northwest Christian School can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Liberty's step.
