The Salt and Light Homeschool Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 63-53 win over True North. The win was just what Salt and Light Homeschool needed coming off of a 76-56 defeat in their prior contest.
True North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Moss, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Porter Hadley, who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds.
The last time Salt and Light Homeschool lost on the road was back back in November. Having now won five straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 2-5. As for True North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salt and Light Homeschool is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Kinkaid at 12:00 p.m. on December 12th. Kinkaid is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for True North, they will head out on the road to face off against Harmony School of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
