Coleman lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Crivitz, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Cougars' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wolverines a 6-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Cougars have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Wyatt Bieber, who gave up just a hit to keep Crivitz off the board. Bieber has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brady Dufeck, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win (which was Coleman's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Crivitz, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Coleman and Crivitz will both be playing Wausaukee the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will head out to face the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
