It was a good run, but the Hillsboro Hawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 60-46 bruising from Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hillsboro in their matchups with Central: they've now lost six in a row.
It was another big night for Jobe Bryant, who scored 35 points along with five assists and five steals for Central. The match was Bryant's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Berry, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Central, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Hillsboro will head out on the road to face off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Farmington at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th.
