They blew past Gulf 54-12 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Sunlake, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Sunlake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaycie Hyde, who scored 12 points. Alia Dobrzanski was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Sunlake's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Gulf, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunlake won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Gulf, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Classical Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
