After only two runs in their last match, Jasper made sure to put some runs up on the board against Castle on Saturday. The Wildcats blew past the Knights 10-4. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Romey Werner looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Young, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Avery Dedrick also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
