Southeast Career Tech came out on top against Sports Leadership & Management on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run third inning. The Roadrunners blew past the Bulls 16-1. Considering the Roadrunners have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Harmon Nelson spent all four innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nathan Johnson was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Springfield, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Southeast Career Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southeast Career Tech, bringing their record up to 14-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Southeast Career Tech has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Clark on the 14th. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on the 14th.
