After each having a week off, the Notus Pirates and the Kendrick Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Notus is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Wilder to the tune of 77-48 two weeks ago. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-20.

Mark Lungu continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 109 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, while also picking up 50 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. Ramiro Contreras helped out on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and a rushing touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Notus was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. They are 4-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Kendrick's win came from a few key players Notus will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tanner Clemenhagen, who rushed for 38 yards and three scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Kirkland, who threw for 149 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing.
