Grimsley came out on top against Ashley on Wednesday thanks in part to Clay Rosser's efforts. Rosser scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Looking ahead, Rosser and Grimsley will face off against Northern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Whirlies have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
