Meanwhile, Jack Britt had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out Richmond 2-1 on Monday.

Pinecrest took their victory against Jack Britt in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pinecrest since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
