Evans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Simpson Broncos by a score of 7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 back in March.

Evans' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Simpson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evans will venture away from home to challenge Hornbeck at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Simpson, they will square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
