The Specially Fit Academy Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 70-55 fall against Bell Creek Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Caleb Sanders, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds for Bell Creek Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sanders has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermal Jones, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Specially Fit Academy bumped their record down to 13-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bell Creek Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Specially Fit Academy on the road again on Saturday and play against Miami Country Day at 1:30 p.m. on January 27th. As for Bell Creek Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McKeel Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
