Costa Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  3-1 to the Pacifica Christian Tritons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their  loss to the Tritons from their previous meeting  back in August of 2024.

Costa Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pacifica Christian, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Costa Mesa will challenge Laguna Hills at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Pacifica Christian, they will square off against Linfield Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
