ROBBIE DIPIETRO posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
