On the mound, he has an ERA of 6.39 over 30.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.543/0.590/0.886 with 16 RBI, plus 13 stolen bases.
 Smith's strong effort led Sewickley Academy over Carlynton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Smith has dominated as far as  walks are concerned (he's  averaged 1.4 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Carlynton has only allowed 5.67 per game this season.
