For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Halifax Academy has posted against Faith Christian since February 9, 2018.
Halifax Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karson Ricks led the charge by scoring 12 points along with nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Corum, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The victory was the third in a row for Halifax Academy, bringing their record for this year to 7-7. As for Faith Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Halifax Academy will be playing at home against Harrells Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Kerr-Vance Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
