The Riverside Rebels lost a heartbreaker to the Sundance Bulldogs when they met back in March of 2022, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Riverside suffered a rough 49-24 defeat at the hands of Sundance. Riverside has struggled against Sundance recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Sundance's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylin Mills, who scored 14 points. Savanna Williams was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 3 steals.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sundance, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Riverside will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Arvada-Clearmont at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Sundance, they will take on Meeteetse at 12:59 p.m. on Saturday.
