New Rockford-Sheyenne extended the longest winning streak in 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) this week by beating Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page, 56-8. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Rockets.
North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in the league. The Eagles defeated Dakota Prairie 14-6 earlier in the week.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Cavalier and North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina]. The Tornadoes comes into the matchup ranked second in the state, while the Eagles ranks 21st.
Lakota/Adams-Edmore made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 454 from 545. The improvement came about via a 61-34 victory over Hillsboro last week.
