Oak Harbor has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Vermilion Sailors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Oak Harbor beat Lake 28-19. Given Oak Harbor's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Lake is ranked 610th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Vermilion didn't have too much trouble with Edison on the road on Saturday as they won 56-42.
Oak Harbor's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Vermilion, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Everything came up roses for Oak Harbor against Vermilion in their previous matchup back in January of 2019 as the team secured a 64-26 win. Does Oak Harbor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vermilion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
