Hodgdon hadn't beaten Madawaska on the road since June 10, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Owls 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted against the Owls since May 3, 2023.

Hodgdon secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Daniel Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hodgdon has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
