The Becker Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 66 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 83-66 fall against Rocori. Becker has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Becker's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyan Blomquist, who scored 20 points. Blomquist hasn't dropped below 19 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Weiss, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Becker has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Rocori, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becker will take on Zimmerman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Becker has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 934 points over their last 12 matches. As for Rocori, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monticello at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Monticello is coming into the game with four straight victories on the road, meaning Rocori will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
