The Oswayo Valley Green Wave suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 60-37 defeat at the hands of Coudersport. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Oswayo Valley has suffered against Coudersport since January 20, 2021.
Oswayo Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nik Bonney, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Oswayo Valley dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.2 points per game. As for Coudersport, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Coincidentally, Oswayo Valley and Coudersport will both be playing Port Allegany the next time they take the court. Coudersport will head out to face Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Oswayo Valley will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
