The home team had won the previous six meetings between Lansing and Turner, and Lansing kept the tradition alive. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Golden Bears on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Lansing's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.
