Meadow Heights scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to the Advance Hornets. The defeat leaves the Panthers without a win on the season.

Meadow Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Advance, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Meadow Heights will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th. Bloomfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Meadow Heights surely won't give up without a fight. Advance has already played their next game, a 52-48 loss against Leopold on the 28th.
