While Charleston Collegiate had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19.
Several Sundevils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lyden Scapaletto, who had 13 digs and three aces. Evie Baslow was another key player, getting 11 kills, five digs, and four aces.
Charleston Collegiate now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Ashley Hall, they moved to 8-16 with that win, which also ended their six-match losing streak.
