Monadnock strolled into their game  on Wednesday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Conant Orioles, sneaking past  5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Huskies have posted  since April 16, 2024.
 Ari Drouin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Shaylee Branon was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paetyn Simonds, who  went 3-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
