Volleyball Recap: Quinter Falls Short of Little River in the Playoffs

Quinter and Little River squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Quinter had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Redskins.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16.

Quinter's offense was headlined by Braelyn Blackwill and Maddy Werth, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kendyl Johnson and her ten assists. Finally, Shaylee Baalman kept Quinter's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Little River can attribute much of their success to Adelynne Strecker, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Strecker has posted over her last ten contests.

Quinter's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 29-12. As for Little River, the victory was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 43-2.

Quinter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against South Gray on the 1st. Little River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
