Tahoma is 6-0 against Federal Way since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Tahoma Bears will play host again and welcome the Federal Way Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Tahoma is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Federal Way in Washington (Tahoma is ranked 11th, while Federal Way is ranked 288th).
Tahoma stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to Kennedy Catholic for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-25 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.
Meanwhile, Federal Way's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 12th straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 55-31 loss at the hands of Kentwood. Federal Way has not had much luck with Kentwood recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Tahoma pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Federal Way, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Everything came up roses for Tahoma against Federal Way in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-21 victory. Will Tahoma repeat their success, or does Federal Way have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
