Jasper is a perfect 3-0 against Midway since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Jasper has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jasper couldn't beat Sarcoxie on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-7 to the Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Aspen Lehman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Alivea Roberts, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 25 runs the game before, Midway was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They lost 14-2 to Lincoln.

Midway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laicey Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Anderson's first of the season.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jasper, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Jasper has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. However, it's not like Midway struggles in that department as they've averaged .533. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Jasper was able to grind out a solid victory over Midway when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 9-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
