McClave strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Springfield Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 on Monday.

McClave got a massive performance out of Ryan Steinbrunn, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Steinbrunn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drew Howe, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

McClave was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

McClave's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Springfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

McClave wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Sierra Grande on the 1st. As for Springfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Eads on the 4th.
