Tri-County entered their tilt with Crawfordsville on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-59 W against the Athenians.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clayton Atkinson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. Atkinson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trey Foster, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Tri-County was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Crawfordsville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Johnovan Smith, who shot 41% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Mason McCarty was another key player, going 9-for-22 to rack up 20 points.

Tri-County's record is now 5-1. As for Crawfordsville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Tri-County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-58 win against Logansport on the 30th. As for Crawfordsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-31 victory against Carroll on the 30th.
