They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 46-9 win over Jefferson Davis Academy. The victory was nothing new for Curtis Baptist as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Curtis Baptist got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Hunt out in front who scored eight points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Kilroy, who scored 13 points.
Curtis Baptist has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Curtis Baptist will head out on the road to take on Calhoun Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Calhoun Academy: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Curtis Baptist has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. Jefferson Davis Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
