After having lost a blowout to Desert Hills in their previous contest, Kealakehe were happy to find some success on Friday. Kealakehe walked away with a 49-42 victory. Kamehameha Hawai'i can consider this payback for the 13-15 loss they dealt Kealakehe the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win bumped Kealakehe's record up to 2-1. The loss dropped Kamehameha Hawai'i back to even at 1-1.
Kealakehe will stay at home next week against Honoka'a at 7:30 PM. As for Kamehameha Hawai'i, they will face off against Hilo.
