Akaylah Thrower produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Somerset Academy Losee to the win on Friday. Thrower was dialed in and almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine steals. She played a big game the last time she faced Eldorado, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Thrower hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Thrower and Somerset Academy Losee will be playing in front of their home fans against the Desert Shields at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Thrower hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 15.2 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against Cheyenne's dominant defense.
