Evans came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 64-11 win over the Lakeside Panthers. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Kimariya Hinton produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Charity Joyner, who posted eight points and five steals.

Evans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 25 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Evans' victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Lakeside, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-17.

Looking ahead, Evans will square off against Effingham County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.05 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lakeside, they will be playing at home against Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
