Chamblee is 2-8 against Decatur since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chamblee Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Decatur Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Chamblee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 318th, while Decatur is ranked 55th).
Last Friday, Chamblee came up short against Arabia Mountain and fell 62-51.
Chamblee's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ramon McDaniel, Jr., who scored 22 points. McDaniel, Jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Eli Starr was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Decatur beat Lithonia 46-36 on Friday. The win was just what Decatur needed coming off of a 91-59 loss in their prior match.
Chamblee has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
