The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 79 yards. Jack Blakeslee was another key player, throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns.
The victory got Anson back to even at 3-3. As for Piedmont, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
Thursday's contest might be decided in the on the ground. Anson has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.5 rushing yards per game.
