In what's become a running theme this season, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Cypress Park. With that victory, Cypress Ranch brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Cypress Ranch was led to victory by Anaiah White and Averie Steele. White scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Steele scored 23 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Samantha Truitt, who scored ten points.
Cypress Park's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deliyah El Amin, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals. El Amin is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Barefield, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Cypress Ranch's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-12. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Cypress Park, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Coincidentally, Cypress Ranch and Cypress Park will both be playing Cypress Lakes the next time they take the court. Cypress Park will head out to face Cypress Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Cypress Ranch will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
