Last Tuesday, Hope Christian Academy was the victim of a rough 61-35 defeat at the hands of Roeper. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hope Christian Academy in their matchups with Roeper: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Lutheran put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rudolf Steiner 67-18 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lutheran has posted yet this season.
Lutheran got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Means out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Fontaine, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Hope Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
