The Fordham Prep Rams won the last time they faced the LaSalle Academy Cardinals, and things went their way on Sunday too. Fordham Prep strolled past the Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.
It was another big night for Matthew Kapfer, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Gregory, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
Fordham Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for LaSalle Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Fordham Prep is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th. St. Edmund Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Rams are ranked 90th). As for LaSalle Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
