Iota never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Northwest Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Iota is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Northwest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Coming up, Iota will host Beau Chene at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will venture away from home to square off against Breaux Bridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
