St. John's/Tipton Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Winkler led the charge by scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Christopher Larocque was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
St. John's/Tipton Catholic now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Tescott, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
St. John's/Tipton Catholic will head out on the road to take on Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunder Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while St. John's/Tipton Catholic is ranked 148th). As for Tescott, they will be playing at home against St. Xavier on Friday.
