In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashlyn Delfosse, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Madyson Counard was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs.
Southern Door was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.
Southern Door pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
